One of Mellons greatest features is the large sand beach which is easily accessible with its own small car parking facility with a board walk down to the beach.. This can get pretty busy on the hotter days though and it is not very big.

The beach is commonly frequented by wildlife enthusiasts sunbathers  and photographers alike looking to capture and enjoy the ever changing moods of the picturesque surroundings, and its easy to see why !
