There are other beaches reasonably close by, two at Gruinard and a harder one to get to at Slaggan bay

Slaggan although quite  often deserted lies at the end of a 5 km track not really suitable for cars. Be under no illusion though, it has a challenging drop down onto it !! Mellon below will always be my favourite though
