You can go further to Aultbea and also Gairloch where there are plenty more shops to visit both for groceries, wines and spirits arts and crafts, including a builders merchant in Gairloch. Gairloch also has the only bank in the area, but it also operates a mobile bank that travels around the area on certain days.
Due to the gulf stream, the area also hosts the fabulous Inverewe Gardens at nearby Poolewe
